Point to a picture. Find its match. Try a word in Filipino. Follow your child’s curiosity, one shared moment at a time.

Place the sheet on a table and offer a few cards. Invite your child to find the matching picture, name a feeling, or tell you what they notice.
Try “Happy” together, then “Masaya.” Add more cards whenever your child is ready.

“Sam is happy.”
“Masaya si Sam.”
Use whichever language feels natural, and explore the other together. There’s no need to quiz or rush.
Match a card, copy an expression, or imagine a story. Different answers are welcome, and passing is always okay.
Imagined scenes are prompts for play, not records of a child’s actual feelings or experiences.
We’re Bryan and Katrina, Teo’s parents. PinoyLittles grew from a simple wish: to create something personal we could use to play, explore feelings, and share English and Filipino with our son.
Our first set was made for Teo. We printed, cut, and laminated the cards, then watched how he used them. His reactions helped us shape the expressions, colorful icons, portable size, and matching game.
When Katrina put the matching sheet on the table, Teo began finding the matching cards. After all twelve, he wanted to play again. He named the feelings, and Katrina gently added the Filipino words for him to repeat.
Those small moments together are at the heart of PinoyLittles. We hope these keepsakes make room for your family’s own conversations, discoveries, and play.
